Guinness Stout Roast Beef
2 lb. sirloin roast
2 bottles Guinness Stout
2 tbsp Bisto (Roast Beef Gravy Mix)
2 cloves garlic
2 cups beef stock
Sear roast in olive oil in a heavy oven-proof pot with a lid.
Add 2 bottles Guinness Stout Ale, two cloves of fresh garlic and 2 tbsp roast beef gravy mix. (Bisto) Simmer beef for twenty minutes on medium-high heat.
Remove roast from heat and cover with lid. Place in a preheated 350 degree oven and continue cooking for one to one and a half hours. Allow to rest before slicing. Once cooled, slice roast beef in paper thin slices and set aside.
